SCOUTING REPORT

I took a scouting trip up to my redfish spot in Ft. Pierce in the Indian River Lagoon.  I have't been there for  a few months and found the conditions were different that I had anticipated. The water was warm and cloudy.  Since this is my site fishing spot and I couldn't see throught the water, we had a difficullt time catching redfish.  By the end of the trip we located some nice trout and keeper snapper using some rubber jigs.  The wind was slightly out of the west with calm conditions.  We wasted four dozen shrimp trying for trout and reds, but the pinfish had their way with us.  When the water gets a bit colder and clearer, I will do another scouting trip.
