The Day after Thanksgiving we decided to go up the Indian River. The tide was comming in as we left the dock. We headed up the river and stopped at one off my favorite docks looking for snook and redfish. It started out slow only catching a couple of rock fish.  So right before dark I decided to pull a few of my stone crab traps.  We pulled four traps and landed fourteen keeper claws. That is 3.5 claws per trap.  After that we moved to a spot where I thought we might land a trout or redfish.  We caught one redfish, and landed three really nice snappers..   It turned out to be a really nice night and brought home a nice snapper and stone crab dinner.  We caught all our fish on live shrimp.
