Blue Duck Offshore Adventure

We decided to go and take the Blue Duck offshore to see if we could raise a few sailfish.  We headed straight offshore to about 120 feet and started trolling ballyhoo.  Nothing came up to investigate, so we turned toward some shrimp boats we could see a bit north of us.  We got within a couple thousand yards of the first one when a nice twenty pound kingfish came rocketing out of the water and hooked himself on my blue and white skirted ballyhoo.  He put up a good fight and threw him in the box.  We re-rigged that skirt and put him back out on the shot gun. About forty five minutes later we dicided to run out to a rip we heard about on the radio. As soon as we got there, we put our spread back out and our shotgun got hit hard.  We got the fish boat side and discovered a twenty-five pound wahoo.  He went in the box too.  We trolled around a bit more with only bonitos destroying our baits, so after releasing enough of those we headed back in.   We pulled two stone crab traps and got eleven keeper claws.  We had another good day.
